This was taken right before things went wrong. Sooty spotted mice scurrying across the TV (AI-generated mice, fittingly, on a site that's proudly AI-free) and decided they had to go. She launched from the cat tower onto the fireplace mantel, knocked over a big candle, took a swing at the screen and then tumbled down onto the fireplace surround. It was not graceful, but she's completely fine. Snowdrop had a front-row seat from the tower. The tower has since been moved out of attacking distance.
